The tournament will take place at two venues - the Jaipal Singh Stadium in Ranchi and the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. Ranchi will host the majority of the matches in the women’s competition.
In the auction, India defender Udita became the most expensive buy, fetching INR 32 lakh, and was acquired by Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers. Netherlands' penalty corner specialist, Yibbi Jansen, was the highest-priced overseas player, securing a deal worth INR 29 lakh with Odisha Warriors.

The top two teams at the end of the league phase will advance directly to the final, scheduled for January 26, 2025.
To ensure decisive outcomes, every match will produce a winner, with tied games going into a shootout. Teams earn three points for a win in regulation time, while a shootout awards one point to each team, with the shootout winner receiving an additional point.
